The Hunterdon Somerset Animal Rescue Center (ARC) is a 501(c)3 Public Charity organization. The ARC is currently operating as a boarding and foster based animal rescue. Our rescue animals are pulled from over-crowded high-kill shelters and placed in safe foster homes while awaiting adoption. FOSTERS SAVE LIVES! If you can foster, please contact the ARC immediately at HunterdonSomersetARC@gmail.com, and submit a foster application (please see Apply To Volunteer and Foster tab above). If you are interested in obtaining more information or adopting an animal within the care of ARC, please call (908) 892-8166 to arrange a meet and greet.

All donations are tax-deductible. Your contribution allows us to continue life-saving rescue work! We can now accept donations via Paypal; to make a gift via Paypal today please click on the yellow Donate Button below.

The ARC is dedicated to the rescue of domestic animals. ARC is committed to taking in adoptable, domestic animals through transfers from over-crowded shelters. ARC aims to pair animals with responsible, loving owners. Adoptable animals will never be put down at ARC. Unhealthy animals will receive necessary veterinary care.

Mission Statement: The Hunterdon Somerset Animal Rescue Center is dedicated to the humane treatment of all animals. The ARC will provide services that support the human-animal bond and seek to foster an environment in which people respect all living creatures.

The Hunterdon Somerset Animal Rescue Center's Mission:

*To provide a safe, clean, compassionate shelter for all animals within care of the ARC

*To reduce overpopulation of domestic animals through spaying/neutering all animals prior to their adoption, and through community education programs

*To provide humane care and necessary veterinary treatment to all ARC animals

*To create a better future for domestic animals by facilitating their rescue from high-kill shelters
